Fantasy Day 2023

There are many weekly and monthly events at the Library year round, but none as exciting and all encompassing as the Flagship event - Fantasy Day. Once again, the Friends were a major sponsor of this event, and the turnout in our community was amazing. We had the pleasure of greeting visitors in the Library Lobby and enjoying the festivities inside. There was a maze, face painting, various crafts in the Kid’s Library, tarot cards, treats and more! The Library was transformed into a magical land with incredible decorations and art.

Friends of the Anacortes Public Library

Since 1969, the Friends have been supporting the Anacortes Public Library in developing services and facilities for the community.

The Friends of the Library play a crucial role in supplementing the Anacortes Library's limited book purchasing budget, and is the primary resource for children's and adult programming.
